Privacy Policy

Effective April 7, 2026 · Last updated April 26, 2026

Welcome to Babbloom ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website babbloom.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information Automatically Collected

When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect certain information about your device, including your web browser, IP address, time zone, and cookies installed on your device. We also collect information about the pages you view and how you interact with the Site ("Device Information").

1.2 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels and similar technologies to customize the Site and improve your experience. Most browsers accept cookies by default; you can remove or reject them, though this may affect functionality.

1.3 Local Storage

Babbloom uses your browser's local storage to save your name shortlist and preferences on your device. This data is stored entirely on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

1.4 Information We Do NOT Collect

Babbloom does not require account creation. We do not collect your name, email, phone number or any other personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily contact us by email. We do not collect payment information — all services are free.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information to (a) operate and improve the Site; (b) analyze usage and trends; (c) serve relevant advertisements through third-party advertising partners; (d) prevent fraudulent activity; and (e) comply with legal obligations.

3. Third-Party Advertising

We use third-party advertising companies, including Google AdSense, to serve advertisements. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email or phone number) about your visits to this and other websites to provide ads about goods and services of interest to you. You may opt out of personalized advertising at Google's Ads Settings.

4. Google AdSense and DoubleClick Cookie

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on the Site. Google's use of the DoubleClick cookie enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this Site and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out via the Google Ads Settings page.

5. Consent Management (Google CMP / Funding Choices)

Babbloom uses Google's certified Consent Management Platform (CMP), Funding Choices, to collect and manage your consent for advertising and related data processing. The CMP is required by Google for sites that show ads to visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, and it complies with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF v2.2) and Google's EU User Consent Policy.

5.1 When the consent banner appears

If you visit Babbloom from the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, a consent message will appear on your first visit (and again if you clear cookies or your stored consent expires). The message offers three choices:

  • Consent — you agree to the use of cookies and similar technologies for personalized ads, ad measurement, audience insights, and product development by Google and its advertising partners.
  • Do not consent — you decline personalized advertising. You will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized (contextual ads based only on the page you are viewing, not your browsing history or profile).
  • Manage options — you can review each purpose and each advertising vendor individually and grant or deny consent on a per-purpose, per-vendor basis.

5.2 Ad personalization behavior

Whether you see personalized or non-personalized ads depends on your consent choice and your region:

  • EEA / UK / Switzerland users who consent: Google and its certified advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to deliver personalized ads, measure ad performance, build audience profiles, and develop and improve products.
  • EEA / UK / Switzerland users who decline: Only non-personalized (contextual) ads are shown. No advertising cookies are set for personalization, and no profile is built from your activity on Babbloom.
  • Users outside the EEA / UK / Switzerland: Ads may be personalized in accordance with Google's policies and applicable local law. You can still opt out at any time using the links in section 5.4 below.

5.3 How to change or withdraw your consent

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. To re-open the Google CMP consent message on Babbloom:

  • Click the "Manage consent" link in the site footer, or
  • Clear your browser cookies for babbloom.com — the consent banner will reappear on your next visit, or
  • Visit Google My Ad Center to control ad personalization across all Google services.

5.4 Additional opt-out resources

6. Google Analytics

We may use Google Analytics to understand how users use the Site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit the Site, not your name or other identifying information.

7. Children's Privacy

The Site is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Data Security

We use administrative, technical and physical security measures to help protect information. No method of transmission is fully secure or impenetrable.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, delete or opt out of the sale of personal data. Because Babbloom does not collect personally identifiable information and stores user preferences locally, you maintain full control over your data at all times.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents may request disclosure of categories and pieces of personal information collected, and request deletion. Contact contact@babbloom.com to exercise these rights.

11. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

EEA residents have rights under GDPR to access, rectify or erase personal data, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. Contact contact@babbloom.com to exercise these rights. EEA, UK and Swiss visitors can also manage advertising consent at any time via the Google CMP banner described in section 5.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will post any changes here and update the "Last Updated" date.
